Rules governing patio area usage:
  • YOU MUST BE AN EVENDALE RESIDENT OR EVENDALE BUSINESS (business function only)  TO RENT OUR FACILITIES.
Reservation must be made by resident, online or in person, at the Recreation Center during regular office hours. 
No phone reservations are accepted. 
Proof of residency must be furnished upon request.  The resident must have a current I.D. and be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Vehicles must be confined to parking areas.  No vehicles are allowed on the grass and sidewalks.
The permit must be retained at all times by the applicant and presented to Recreation Department personnel or the Police Department upon request. 
The resident applicant must be in attendance 100% of the time of the event.  Violation of this policy will result in forfeiture of the deposit and possible denial of future rental privileges.
  1. This patio area rental permit is good only on the date and times shown. (No rain dates.)
A one (1) week notice is required if cancellation of the patio area is necessary.  If this requirement is not met, $25 will be deducted from the cleaning/damage deposit.
  1. All food and drinks must be cleaned up.
    B.  Trash must be placed in receptacles. 
    C.  Food and beverages are permitted only in the patio area or other areas by special arrangement. 
    D.  All food and beverages must be in unbreakable containers. 
    E.  Decorations shall not be attached to the fans or light fixtures. 
    F.  Wash off tables if necessary. 
    G.  No grilling of any type is allowed within the covered patio area.
  2. Function must end and the area cleaned up and cleared by 1:00 a.m.
  3. No sound systems, speakers, DJ’s, etc., allowed without written authorization from the Director or designated staff.
  4. By signing this application, the resident states that he/she is at least twenty-one (21) years of age and will be present while the patio area is used. He/she will be held responsible for any damages that may occur while his/her group is using the patio area.  In addition, he/she agrees to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Recreation Commission.
  5. NO SMOKING within the covered patio area.
 
Do not attach decorations, signs, to any Village of Evendale signs.
 
The patio area can be rented as early as six (6) months before the day of an event. 
Example:  Jones gathering. . . July 17. . . Reservation. . .Jan 17.  The cleaning deposit will be returned to the applicant after the rental, and the supervisor will submit the inspection report to the recreation office.
  
Rules governing alcohol permit (Issued in conjunction with patio area only):
 
  1. The resident applicant must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. A roster of those attending an event may be requested.
  2. In order to have alcohol, the alcohol permit portion of the permit must be completed AND approved.
  3. Identification and control must be proved to ensure exclusive use by an event member; and that minors are not served. No alcoholic beverages may be served to persons other than permitted by Ohio law.
  4. Permit expires at 1:00 a.m.
  5. By signing this application, the resident states that he/she is at least twenty-one (21) years of age and will be present while the patio area is used. He/she will be held responsible for any damages that may occur while his/her group is using the patio area.  In addition, he/she agrees to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Recreation Commission.
 
Any violations of these rules and regulations may cause that person to lose future privileges of using the facility.  Deposit shall be forfeited if rules are violated, clean-up is not complete or if damage occurs.

Fee Schedule
No rental fee is required; however, a deposit check is due one week before hand to secure the reservation.
