Adult Soccer - Pickup Games

Time: 9:00 – 11:00 am
Dates: Starts April 18 (may start earlier, if weather permits)
This organized pick-up play is for Co-Ed residents and their guests who are 18 & over.
Do you enjoy playing soccer without getting upset or serious? Starting on Saturday, April 19, there is an open pick-up game. We have 16-year-olds to 60-year-olds. The majority are men; however, we do have a few brave ladies who enjoy the game. We have players who haven't played in years and are out of shape, to some younger guys who are college-age and run circles around the old guys.
To ensure we don't have any injuries, there is no slide tackling, we try to back off on 50/50 balls, and if there aren't any full-time keepers, we encourage everyone to take a turn playing in the net for 8-10 minutes. Since this game started with fathers who wanted an opportunity to play with their children, we don't take the game too seriously (ie, if you get emotional or upset at other players, this is not the league to join). Most of us don't even wear shin guards.
If you are interested in playing, please let Kristen know if you are interested in being on the group email list, or just show up Saturday morning around 9. An email goes out on Fridays reminding everyone of the game, and if the weather doesn't cooperate, he will send an email out by 8 am Saturday morning, canceling for that weekend.
