Kidz Home AloneJune 1 and June 3 6:00-8:00 pm9–12-year-old Instructor: Enriching Kidz Cost: $75 per personMin: 5 Max: 25Would your child know what to do if they have forgotten their house key?  What if they are home alone and they are choking? Our Kidz Home Alone class will give you and your child peace of mind when alone. As creators of this class, we considered every home-alone scenario possible and provided solutions for all the “what-ifs”.  This course is designed to teach your child how to stay safe at home alone. An informative parent guide is included in the student manual and offers a discussion point for parents and children.  This engaging, interactive class is fun and features guest speakers from the local Police and Fire Departments (when available). Students will learn: how to answer the door and the phone; the reasons to call 911; first aid and safety; the Heimlich maneuver; why it’s necessary to have house rules; fire escape procedures; and severe-weather planning. Better Baby SittersJune 15 and June 17 4:00-8:00 pm10–13-year-oldInstructor: Enriching Kidz Cost: $100Min: 5 Max: 20Would your child know what to do if the child they were babysitting was choking?  Does your child babysit their younger siblings?  Your child will learn the skills needed to become a Better Babysitter!  This class includes guest speakers from the local Police and Fire Departments (when available).  All students will receive a first-aid kit to take home.  This class is appropriate for boys and girls ages 10+, and it is interactive and fun, with role-play and hands-on instruction. Students will learn First Aid and safety, Infant and child CPR with mannequin instruction, care for a choking child and infant, handling emergencies, creative problem-solving, professional conduct, and creating a marketing flyer. They will also have hands-on practice in diapering, bottle-feeding, infant care, and age-appropriate creative activities.

Our Kidz Home Alone class will give you and your child peace of mind when alone. As creators of this class, we considered every home-alone scenario possible and provided solutions for all the “what-ifs”.  This course is designed to teach your child how to stay safe at home alone. An informative parent guide is included in the student manual and offers a discussion point for parents and children.  This engaging, interactive class is fun and features guest speakers from the local Police and Fire Departments (when available). Students will learn: how to answer the door and the phone; the reasons to call 911; first aid and safety; the Heimlich maneuver; why it’s necessary to have house rules; fire escape procedures; and severe-weather planning. Better Baby SittersJune 15 and June 17 4:00-8:00 pm10–13-year-oldInstructor: Enriching Kidz Cost: $100Min: 5 Max: 20Would your child know what to do if the child they were babysitting was choking?  Does your child babysit their younger siblings?  Your child will learn the skills needed to become a Better Babysitter!  This class includes guest speakers from the local Police and Fire Departments (when available).  All students will receive a first-aid kit to take home.  This class is appropriate for boys and girls ages 10+, and it is interactive and fun, with role-play and hands-on instruction.
